Are you too emotional?

When buying a home, even an investment, people instinctively listen to their hearts rather than letting their logic and knowledge speak for the deal. I mean, if you are purchasing a home to live in and raise a family this makes perfect sense, right? But letting your emotions get the best of you when it comes to investing may stand in your way. Remember to think of each transaction as a business deal, negotiate to the best of your ability (of have an experienced realtor negotiate on your behalf) and do everything you can to get the best deal possible. Remember that you can renegotiate repairs or price after an inspection!
