3 Quotes to Help You Get Through the Day

Work is purely self-driven. It always has a purpose and in order to realize this purpose, we need to determine our drive. Indeed, we spend so much energy working that we tend to lose our drive. In this sense, it’s important that you find a great source of motivation that can help you pull through.

There are a lot of types of motivation. It can take emotional, physical or verbal forms. But the best way for me to motivate a person is through words.

Let's talk about motivational quotes. These function like endorphins that fight hopelessness and self-doubt. So, if you’re feeling down and hopeless, take time to go online and find the right quotes that will lift your spirit.

Let me share some of my favorite quotes that have always worked for me!

1. "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life." -Steve Jobs

It’s one of the famous lines from the creator of the world’s most popular electronics brand. Apple CEO Steve Jobs wanted us to embrace the true meaning of uniqueness. We need to remember that every person holds a different story in their life. These stories create experiences that make us special.

Remember that being different will help you explore and expose your true persona. Because if we’re going to conform to the norms of the society, we’re only burying our true selves instead of celebrating the beauty of individuality!

2. “If you can’t fly, then run; if you can’t run, then walk; if you can’t walk, then crawl; but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” - Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This quote is from one of the world’s greatest orators, Martin Luther King, Jr. who promoted self-discipline, uniqueness, respect, and equality. His quote tells us that striving for a higher ideal can get difficult. But no matter how tough the circumstances are, we must maintain our composure and keep going!

You can do it! As long as you stick to your goals, success is possible! You can try as many times, but you’ll find your way back on the road towards self-actualization. So, don’t be afraid of hitting rock bottom. Take risks and learn from your mistakes. The important thing is to keep your eyes focused on the road ahead.

3. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” —Eleanor Roosevelt

This quote is from the late president of the United State of America, Franklin D. Roosevelt. He tells us that no one can make us feel lesser. Criticism can be difficult to stomach, but it shouldn’t convince us that we are failures. This because we have our own beauty, worth, meaning and value. Anyone who says otherwise has no right to label us based on what they perceive on the surface. We need to show our critics that we are bound for something greater.
