What is stopping you from winning? From the eyes of a newbie

There are those people who attend several REI groups. They feel the hype, the love and the energy in the atmosphere. However, once they leave, they forget about the next step. Something within is lost and the feelings are gone. There is no guru screaming "ITS EASY, NO MONEY DOWN, THIS IS HOW I DID IT." There is no more cheering from the crowd. The newbie sitting in the next seat who promised the "best duo" or who said "we are going to run this one day" is not returning your calls or emails. All motivation is gone. What is next? 

I am here to tell you, newbie to newbie- Get your behind up and get to work. There is no time for a pity party. No time to sit by the sideline and watch your dreams die away. If you do not take that next step, the next person will. Have a plan, stick with it and reevaluate when need be. Education is key. You must seek information like a sponge to water and do not ring that knowledge out.

Winston Churchill once said "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." You must keep that energetic bubble that you have while sitting in one of your meetup groups and have it shield you to a successful winning career. Shield you from all the nay-sayers. Shield you from your own thoughts of how you cannot succeed. Shield you from that feeling of laziness. Shield you from feeling content and satisfied. You want to be successful? You have to always be hungry. You have to want to work for it. I will never sit here and call it easy, but you will get the hang of it.
