Getting Started in Real Estate Investing

Just a quick introduction. My name is Paul and I am a budding Real Estate investor in Tucson Arizona.

Normal 1541966618 JeepLike many of you, I am getting started in Real Estate investing. And like many of you I am trying to find my feet. It seems like there is a hundred ways to invest and at least as many ways to do it. So where do we start?

I have spent a lot of time already with my head in books and a constant stream of podcasts on my daily commute. I am not totally new to Real Estate though. If you have read my profile you already know that I was a licensed Real Estate agent for many years. I left the Realtor(R) world as a profession, but the 'bug' never left me. I am going back in full throttle!

I named this blog 'Bootstrapping in Tucson' because that is exactly what I'm doing. I have very little money to market and not a huge amount of time. But I do have determination! I am writing this blog as a way to keep myself accountable. I will share what I do as I do it. Maybe it will be helpful to others as time goes by.

One thing that I have already found to be true is that most investors are very generous with their time and advice. I appreciate that. Networking (the little I have done so far) has opened my eyes to so many new ideas and points of view. I welcome anybody who wants to open a dialogue on any Real Estate investing topic. We can all learn and grow together!

Please share any comments, advice, or whatever. I am open to all views and opinions. In my next post I will discuss what I have done so far and where I plan to spend my time and money moving forward.

Best of luck to all of us!
