Were I am at. In the begging

Hello and thank you for reading...

I was doing some Robert Kiyosaki videos and came across BP video podcasts. Very glad that I did. Enjoying the community so far. My interest in RE has been renewed.

Here's my situation / introduction / first post

I am 50 years old, have absolutely poor credit. Lots of medical debt. work a PT job, no savings, no down payment or people in relation that I can turn too. Basically I am at rock bottom as for "statues" in life... That's o.k., I was dealt a blow and am now working on standing on both feet and taking care of this place that I am in. I know it can be done and I do have the time. However I am also not mobile, can be a very easy fix (long story). So yes its a hill to climb, but that's all that it is... a hill...

I think the best way for me to break in is to get into a multi-fam say a 4 plex.. This a first property. Ideal situation.. But am very open minded as to what happens.

Or as it has been suggested to me "House Hacking".. Yup still open minded..

I have plenty of time on my hands. I only work 25-30 hours a week. I am also thinking about wholesaling.... Please keep in mind I'm not looking for a "get rich quick" I am looking to use this knowledge and the tools to make the situation better for me and everyone involved. Including past financial responsibility.

when I was around 20 years old my mother said to me that I should get into real estate. I never did anything with it. Later in life the Carlton Sheets infomercial came out. Mom did buy that for me. I did some studying tried a few calls and gave up. But I did decide to take jobs in the RE / mortgage industry. So I do have a good background and understand, but need to get up to speed on how things are moving now a days. The best thing that I can offer is time. If anyone is looking for help please feel free to message me. I have many years customer service back ground and also collections. Some probate knowledge.

Currently goals are to network, make friends get deeper in the game with people that are taking action. I can't get in any worse a situation then I am already in. The only way is up.
