Build a Real Estate Website in less than 30 minutes No Money!!
This is not a spam! I'm not promoting anything either! I just want to show you how I built my Real Estate website in less than 30 minutes. Creating a website has so many benefits and can grow your real estate business substantially without spending too much time or money. Let’s just jump right in, shall we?
1. Design the Website.
There are many platforms that you can build your website on and all of them have their advantages. A simple google search can give you a bunch of options. Every platform has its ups and downs but I think Wix.com works best for REIs since it's easy to set up! If you could get to this blog on your own, then you can build a website too.
a. go to wix.com
b. Set up and account
c. Click on "choose a Template" (don't waste your time on designing one from scratch, it's not worth it) and pick a template that you like (most of them are pretty good). For my website, I chose the "Real Estate Company" template
d. In my case, I want a website that is designed for a leads funnel but also helps me build a brand and connect with other investors. Since the leads funnel is the main goal, place a form and a phone number on your home page. It's SO EASY to do! Just go to "add apps" on the right-hand side and add "Wix form". There! that's it! just double click on the form and add your email address so when someone fills out the form you'll get an email alert. Make sure you add a text box next to the form explaining why they should fill the form out (ie: "fill out this form to get a free quote on your home"). Next, make sure that you have your phone number somewhere on the first page.
c. Remove the extra stuff and do some cosmetic adjustments. Don't forget your logo! That's all for the "lead funnel" Page.
d. Since I want to use my site for branding too, I'm going to include “about us", "Contact", and a "blog" page to include my blog posts (you don't have to have a blog page if you don't like writing). Make some adjustments to these new pages and add some text. Make sure your contact info and address is on most pages (it’s best to place it in the header or footer). Remember to Keep it simple! Wix has a built-in app for blogging so all you have to do is to add the app and BAM! you got yourself a blog page! Make sure to add useful content into your blog which will help you bring traffic!
2. Publish!
How are we doing so far? not too bad huh? well, now you just need to publish your website! Just click on the publish button on the top right corner and click on "get a free wix.com domain" you can change the end tail of the domain. That's it! You have a fully functioning website now! If you don’t mind spending a little money, I’d recommend upgrading to the Unlimited plan to get a customized domain and get rid of the ads. I also got a customized email box with my company domain. They have a 50% coupon so everything ended up less than $150 you also get 2 $100 coupons one for Google ads and one for Bing which is pretty good to get started.
3. Generate Traffic!
Now that you have your website up and running start building the pillars to your pipeline. To get started, add your website URL to all your social media accounts and follow the SEO optimization guideline in your dashboard to get found by search engines.
You can look at my website to get an idea of how a “lead funnel” optimized website would look like.
There are some things that I need to get fixed but it does the job and I did it while watching Steph Curry destroying Lebron! #Sorry_LJ
