This crazy Wholesale Journey

Well here we are after meeting with a seller 7 days ago...

So I took a deep look into how I'm starting up my business and it seemed to me that I was not doing enough but it hit me, I was just being lazy and I did not want to put in the work. This thing called real estate is actually kinda hard and you have to really want it to succeed. I looked into what I was doing and what was holding me back, turns out it was just me not willing/procrastinating to take the next step or pick up the phone. I did what I did not want to do, call people and or email them.

I went into craigslist and started pounding the phone and texting/emailing people (I emailed and texted people because I am at work). Lo and behold I got a hold of a seller that does not want their property anymore and they live out in Colorado. I set up an appointment to look at the property and I will set out to go look at it today, which is Monday 4/23/2018. I have a general good idea of the price point and what is the ARV of the property. The only caveat is that the seller does not want to tie up the property until there is a buyer in place, this is a weird situation but I will market the property and once I have a buyer ready I will get it under contract. I let him know of what I was going to do and he agrees with me. He doesnt seemed bothered and is cooperative with me. I know someone else can come and get the property from under me but we will see how this goes. It's movement in the right direction.
