My STORY ON HOW I GOT INTO REAL ESTATE
The real estate business has always been in my blood. My father started in the business in 1996 purchasing foreclosures. After much success he transitioned to new construction/additions. Over his career he let me manage the Rentals he was accumulating for I have always wanted to do real estate or at least something in real estate to the extent that when someone would ask me what I want to do when I go to college I would say architecture. After some research I was pointed to civil engineering. I chose engineering because subconsciously I wanted to develop property and it made more money than Architecture. Ultimately I never followed my desire and growing in a culture that frowned upon anything but medical. I entered Rutgers in ’07 to pursue pharmacy. Fast forward to 2014, I got accepted to a pharmacy school in West Virginia. The halfway through the summer I decided enough is enough time to make my move into real estate. After paying my deposit, I called the dean and told him I’m withdrawing my application! Due to the fact I didn’t want to just end up with a bio degree. I enrolled to the MBA program at my alma mater. In the process I started my position as a Commercial Lease Analyst at the Vitamin Shoppe. Couple months before my graduation I quit my job and joined the family business. Of course 99% of the people around me were not thrilled but I stuck to my guns and I am where I am today.
