Being an investor with Children

To all of us who this sounds like an obstacle in life, should think of it more like a challenge  that can be overcome. Many of us don’t take the risk when we have kids because like every parent; we want to provide security with no obstacles for our children. I can tell you from experience that, “with great risk comes great rewards”; it’s easy to say but hard to follow. Much like a baby takes its first step without knowing how far it can go, I begin mine knowing that I just need to get there.

My children give me the strength and drive to thrive in this business ; not only because I want to secure a future for them but because I involve them in it. By involving them in simple task as passing the hammer, painting, even cleaning up. As my children may not do much or know what they are doing; it’s molding them into valuing hard work and sacrifice. For those investors who are not handy with the hammer, can involve them in other parts of the business. My children are involved in finding the right product for the job at the home improvement stores and even scouting at home through the internet. The part they enjoy the most is driving for dollars, because they get to travel and look at homes while eating their favorite happy meal. I have found that involving them ease the chains of  taking the first steps as a newbie investor. Not only could I look towards the future but we have learned  a great deal as a family from failures to success in this new world. Don’t worry my children have plenty of time to be children and play . Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and you may even learn something from your children. Remember, excuses only satisfies those who make them. Always look forward, don’t look back even to gain momentum. It’s up you to build the future and dynasty that people will look upon on.
