Fear of Failure in Real Estate Investment
Fear and fear of failing is one of the hardest things to overcome.
My God, I have a college degree and two Master degrees. So, why am I afraid of doing wholesaling and making money. I believe it is rejection and fear of failure. Robert Kiyosaki stated that most of us were told to go to school and make and save money. Well, in today's economy that does not work.
Real Estate holdings and investments are where it at. I am currently trying to learn to become a New York Real Estate Salesperson and learning how to do Wholesaling. It would be nice to get the license but it is 19 Chapters to study. But if I get the cert, I would have some protection as the RE license would protect and I would have access to the MLS.
On the other hand, Wholesaling would give me access to immediate financial resources (if the deals falls in place). But you do need money (sometimes) to finance your deals. So we will see what happens in the future.
It is my wish to read back this blog post after I have "Made It" in life.

Michael, I was really happy to read that last line in this blog post. I appreciate the optimism that it conveyed. While I do not have the appropriate combination of words to soothe your apprehension, I do believe that conquering fear comes from knowledge and support. We tend to fear what we don't understand. We also fear loss. To counteract this, we should arm ourselves with knowledge and reach out to those who have succeeded before us. We should never stop learning about real estate, and we should never stop listening to the experience of those who are doing it. Education and support go a long way in helping us dive off the deep end.
I wish you the absolute best of luck! You've inspired me to make a little note to look back on years down the line to see how far I've come. You've also inspired me to be a lot more honest and open about my own apprehensions in real estate. Thank you!
