Military Relocation Professional (MRP)

A REALTOR® with the MRP certification understands that when military staff and their families relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables makes the transfer easier, faster, and less stressful. The MRP certification focuses on educating real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members which helps their clients find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and take full advantage of military benefits and support that are available.

Certified Real Estate Pricing Specialist (C-REPS)

Being able to thoroughly analyze the Real Estate market is essential to know what to price a home and understanding if a home is overpriced. Whether you are buying or selling a home, getting an expert in pricing is a huge advantage.

Digital Marketing Expert (e-PRO®)

According to the National Association of Realtors, over 90% of home buyers search for their house online and more than half actually purchase a home they found online. As a true digital marketing expert, I can literally make your home follow the most likely buyers around the internet. This will get you a better chance to sell your house faster and for more money.

Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR)

This is the buyer’s agent you want on your side. Trained in helping buyers find the home they’ve always dreamt of and holding the tools and resources to negotiate effectively on the buyer’s behalf.

Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)

Real estate transactions are complicated. International real estate transactions are even more complicated. This designation requires representatives to successfully complete a five-day course covering all aspects of an international real estate deal. It then opens a door to a network of more than 3,500 international CIPS agents looking to help each other with mutual clients referral partners.

Certified Property Manager (CPM)

Buying and selling property is one thing. This designation means that agents are able to manage investment properties, apartments, and condos. This is an asset to clients who are owners or investors seeking added expertise in the transaction.

Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB)

That brokerage office has someone in charge. That is the CRB; this is one of the most respected designations in all of the real estate industry. The CRB oversees office transactions and mentors other realtors. They streamline operations and seek to apply new methods and trends to the office business strategy.

NAR’s Green Designation (GREEN)

More and more homeowners seek to buy homes that meet higher environmental standards. The realtor with the GREEN designation can explain more than the solar panels on the roof. They are able to effectively education buyers on various green features in properties that will help reduce a homeowner’s carbon footprint.

Performance Management Network (PMN)

This isn’t a real estate process designation so much as it is a business enhancement designation. The PMN works to develop higher negotiation skills, networking, and marketing tactics for real estate agents. This designation is sought by real estate agents truly looking to run their career as a business.

Seller Representative Specialist (SRS)

Like the BRS, the SRS is an agent who works with sellers. The selling side of a real estate transaction is very different than the buyer’s side. This agent is focused on ethical disclosure, marketing, and negotiation on behalf of sellers.

Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES)

There is a higher ethical standard expected when working with senior citizens. Agents with this designation have taken the time to learn how to communicate effectively with seniors to ensure they fully understand every step of a transaction and are treated fairly and with respect.

Agents getting any of these designations care enough for their clients and doing business properly that they take the time, energy and money to take the classes. Understand what the designations mean to make sure the agent is the perfect realtor for you.

Short-Sale and Foreclosure Specialist (SFR)

Knowing how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales, as well as help buyers, pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities are not merely good skills to have in today’s market — they are critical.
