New Apartment, New Opportunities

Me and my boyfriend are in process of moving, and as you might have read in one of my earlier blog posts it involves a lot of work.

The short story is we were going to rent out our current apartment as an SFR, but because of the recent lending requirements from the Norwegian government we've had to sell the SFR and go for a different strategy. Now that the SFR is sold we are moving into our new apartment, which is new construction. We purchased it last summer, and are moving in now on Tuesday. Whenever we tell people they think it's been a long wait, but honestly time goes by quickly, and in Norway there are a few benefits to buying new construction in a seller's market. In one of my next posts I'll highlight the pro's and con's of new construction, and why it can be cheaper than purchasing something used.

Best wishes,

Ingrid.
