Please Excuse Us While We Deal With Some Growing Pains

As many of you have already seen, BiggerPockets has not been loading properly for the past few hours, and we anticipate this to continue for hours to come.  We're dealing with some major problems associated with the growing pains of a rapidly expanding website.

We ask your patience.

Please do check back periodically if you encounter these problems and hopefully we'll have everything rectified soon.

Thank you for the understanding.

Sincerely,

Joshua Dorkin, CEO

  1. Hey, no problem. I really appreciate this site and all the work you have done to make it a success.

  2. Thanks Tod! We are aware of this bug and should have it fixed today. Sorry for the delay.

  3. Hi Josh. I think I'm still having trouble when I View My Profile or click on Bulletins. (http://www.biggerpockets.com/links/Tod/user) I haven't seen anyone else commenting for a couple of days so I wonder if something's wrong with just my account. Thanks, Tod

  4. I believe we've found the cause of yesterday & this morning's chaos -- finally! Things should settle back down now. Thanks for the patience once again everyone!

  5. Thanks for the support, Nick. There is a tremendous amount of pressure to ensure the site is working for our members and visitors 100% of the time. Times like these are EXTREMELY trying for me, as I feel like I'm letting everyone down. The stress is horrible; there is nothing I want more than to get this back to 100%. That said, simply reloading a page will likely bring it back up if you get a blank page or one of those 500 error pages. That said, I think we're getting closer to the solution and want nothing more than to find it! Again, please be patient . . . we'll get this ship upright and cruising again very soon! Thanks again, Josh

  6. whats with the 'Joshua Dorkin, CEO' stuff? You selling out on us now Josh? I for one expect these hiccups by now. It certainly doesn't bother me considering I know the explosive growth your site continues to have. For me, its now more like, "oh well, it will be back up soon" and I'm constantly checking back in. No biggie, I don't think any of us are going anywhere mister CEO :)
