BiggerPockets.me: Your Profile - Just Easier
Thanks to a suggestion from member Will Barnard, we made it so our members can more easily point outsiders to their profile using a shorter link then the traditional "BiggerPockets.com/users/USERNAME"
Will was looking for a shorter url to put
on his business cards, which pointed to his BiggerPockets Profile, so after a discussion with him, we decided that we could create a redirect to solve his problem.
Today, we launched the BiggerPockets.me service
. . . which in its current form, is an easy way to tell people how to get to your profile. We've been brainstorming some new uses beyond the current one as well, but I make no promises about future plans - yet.
By simply going to BiggerPockets.me/USERNAME, you will arrive on your profile or that of any other user on the site. You save 8 characters, which may not be important to some, but it is definitely an easier way to remember how to find your profile, and that is our goal - to simplify everything for you.

We aim to please! Josh and I have been disucssing this and some other things (no promisses as he mentioned) for added features of this already great site! I look forward to using this any any other future possible features to make BP Nation an even better place to be. Don't forget to invite your friends and contacts to BP Nation! It just got a tad easier!

Very cool....Linkedinish! Nice feature...and a nice way to share the site with others. I will put it on my email closing with my LinkedIn address too.
