Work Orders from Property Mgr

Posted

I am curious to hear your experiences that you have had when you PM's discuss maintenance issues with you. Specifically I recently had an AC replaced as my tenant said it was not heating the house well enough. My Pm stated that their AC guy said my AC was not equipped for the size of my house and that that the AC was at the end of its life span. (My inspection report stated that the AC could go out soon as it was old)

I had a new AC installed but I was expecting some more documents for my own records. My PM has only provided me proof that I paid them for the work but I was expecting a copy of the work performed by the AC guy, What type of unit was installed etc.

Thus far no such paper work has been sent to me. This can't be normal right? What is your experience when you have repairs done in regards to paper work.

@Sean Honeycutt thats exactly my concern, I might be needing to hire a new PM. I'm awaiting to see what they are able to provide me in regards to work performed.
