Insurance policies - what to keep

Hello everyone,

I'm a part time investor with no access to email or drop box while at work so maintaining solid records can sometimes be difficult. I also live in an apartment in manhattan so physical space is limited. With that said, what insurance records do I need to keep for my personal records? I feel as though I get 4-5 official looking documents when I take out a new policy, including the policy itself which is huge.

In today's paperless age, saving all of this paperwork seems like a waste. Right now I only have one rental and a general liability policy so it's not so bad. But soon , I'll have 2 more rentals.

Thanks in advance for any input.
