Insurance rule of thumb?
Is there a rule of thumb on how much Insurance is per year on a SFR? ie.. .045% of the total value of the property? I have a spreaad sheet and I am tyring to get ball park ideas on how much to figure for expenses.
Called my a couple of insurance co. and they didn't have any and wanted to quote each one as I look at them.
I'm just looking for ball park numbers so I can look at the deal and see if it is worth pursuing further. If the deal looks promising then I'll call and get hard numbers.
any thoughts?
