I am paying way too much for insurance on my properties. 4-3 family houses and 1-2 family house.  Last year I searched around and found a company charging a fraction of what I'm paying BUT I also found out that I had an open case (slip & fall) attached to one of my properties.   Because of this attachment the company wouldn't consider me.  They finally settled the case a few months back so I went back to see what can be done.  This company is not interested in properties that had paid out claims.    Am I going to be finding the same issue with all insurance companies?  Any suggestions on where to check? Appreciate the help. Thanks

Steve
