Which is better - LLC or Umbrella Insurance?

Hi,

I'm a newbie investor looking to expand my real estate portfolio. I've been researching the topic of limited liability and the different options to achieve this. The most common options used by investors seem to be an LLC or Umbrella Insurance.

I'd like to understand which is the better option between these two and the reasoning behind it. Looking forward to hearing from the experts. Thank you.

Shakthi
