1. Any recommendation for an umbrella insurance? My investment property insurance would not provide umbrella unless I have all the insurances under them - Vermont Mutual and it's too much to move Cars[Geico], residence etc into one insurance just to buy one Umbrella insurance.

2. Any other recommendation to ensurebthat umrella insurance is full proof and that it actually works and they dont bring that one disclaimer if and when it comes for actually paying for the insurance claim,  if ever.

Hi @Inderpreet Singh

An Umbrella Insurance policy is a cost-effective way of getting your general liability coverage up. For a few hundred more it is well worth it in my opinion. When you move all of your insurance under one insurer, they can also bid down your individual policies to help save you money. I understand that Geico is good for car insurance, but not for rental property. Every carrier has their own specialty. If you're interested in an insurance broker that can help you with that, msg me and I will provide a local name of someone that can walk you through some options.

USLI is huge and I used them for 10+ years. They were great until they put a $1M limit on my policy because a couple of my homes ha pools. If you don’t have any pools try them. If you do, I switched to Madison a few years ago and they’ve been fine.

@Inderpreet Singh  I use Liberty Mutual for my umbrella and have been very happy with them.  I have the rental properties insured with a variety of lenders and no issues with putting all of them under the umbrella policy.
