Homeowners Insurance in California?
Hello,
I'm currently trying to close on a duplex (no shared walls) in LA County. However, I'm struggling to find a company to insure the property and I'm getting pretty nervous that this is going to prevent the close of escrow. I'm sure a lot of you are aware of the home insurance mess in California. With that being said:
1.) Does anyone have information on who is currently still providing homeowners insurance?
2.) For this kind of duplex, would I need a standard HO-3 with an additional Landowner insurance policy?
Any input would be appreciated.
