STR - Liability Insurance

Hi all - First time post, thanks in advance for your time.

Briefly, my partners and I recently purchased a short term rental, and will be opening up next month. Our current policy is through Lloyds and has a number of liability exclusions that are quite concerning. We are planning to move our coverage to Vermont Mutual, which - according to my agent - is prohibited from writing business owner policies with these exclusions. I've read a bit about AirBnb's "Host Liability Insurance (HLI)," but that too appears to have a number of troublesome exclusions. In reviewing options like Steadily and Proper, they look appealing, but I'm told their liability protections are not as strong as those in a commercial liability policy offered by more conventional carriers like Travelers, the Hartford, etc.

My question is this: For your STR, who do you use for insurance, and were you satisfied with the breadth of their liability coverages in particular?

Again, thank you for the consideration and time.

Charles
