Finding off market houses

Im from hampton roads Virginia, and i was wondering what are some sources you guys use on finding iff market houses? Or tactics.

I agree with Erickson. The best way is driving for dollars. You get to know your market a bit more, find some great areas to be looking in, as well as see the house in it's current condition. Very similar idea, but find a bird dog in your area to drive around and find properties. Every time you close on them, compensate the bird dog for helping you. I also encourage you to network with wholesalers who look for properties in your market. in addition, I like to look on craigslist/ facebook market place at FSBO, handyman special, etc. Also look at for rent on those sites. You might come across a rental that looks to be in not great condition. Good luck with finding some and if you have any more questions, feel free to connect with me.
