Hi @Xavian Rimmer, welcome to BP and real estate investing! I'm also new to the platform and it's a great community with a wealth of knowledge.

Here's what I can give you from my experience so far:

• Personalize connection requests explaining why you want to connect with that person
• Specify on your profile what type of REI you're interested in so people can get to know you
• Set up keyword alerts for the areas you're interested in to keep up with what's happening in your market

Start attending your local REI meetings as much as you can.  I do this, and I have made so many connections.  I just connected with a couple of realtor/investors last night and half a dozen cash buyers.  I also got a recommendation for a new title company.  Oh, and some chili (it sucked) and a couple of rum and cokes. If it's at a bar/restaurant, be sure to buy something and tip well.  :)
