Flood insurance required properties

I searched but I didn't find anything helpful in the forums.

Is there a way to find out if a property is going to require flood insurance?

I am trying to get in to wholesaling, I called a fix and flipper last night and asked him about what he looks for and what he stays away from, he said he stays away from places requiring flood insurance.

From the distressed properties I've written down I can tell which ones will most likely need it but then there are others in the same town which I can't tell just buy looking at it.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Pablo Garcia

FEMA maps.

An agent can look it up in a few seconds by address.

By you in Brentwood, anything south of Sunrise Hwy would be suspect.
