Advice for newbie wholesaler trying to build a buyers list

Hi everyone this is my first time posting on the wholesaling forum.

For the past two days I have been calling landlords around the Indianapolis area that advertise on Craigslist to find out what kind of property they would like to buy and have not been able to get any feedback. I am new at this and trying to figure out better ways to find out what investors are in the market for. I have very little money to work with so methods to find buyers without paying for gas or some other expense would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance
