Collecting unpaid rents after eviction

Hi landlord gurus, I appreciate the advice you may have.  We evicted a tenant since they didn't pay rent for 2.5 months.  We are now suing them in TX small claims court as the security deposit was not enough to cover the 2 - 3 months rent after they trashed the house.  What would be the best course of action to sue them for non-payment?  Can we collect judgement by garnishing from their bank account?
