Do I have a case?

I purchased my home October 13, 2023. The seller (also a local agent that sold his home himself) disclosed there was a roof leak and was fixed in July 2023.

Jan 18 noticed a water line in my stove after knowing I cleaned the same waterline when I purchased the home. Burner is rusted and not working. That was when first thought of a roof leak was there.

Jan 22- we had the rain storm and immediately the roof started heavily leaking, through the flashing along the beam by the chimney.

Jan 25 hired local contractor. Fixed the roof and they said there was no evidence of any repairs ever being made in the area.

So I had to fix the roof exactly where he supposedly had the guy his broker uses fix. I had to pay $600 to have the roof fixed, so since it wasn’t fixed and I have signed statement from the roofer that there is no evidence of repairs ever being made, can I take him to small claims court?

And what exactly does a lack of evidence of repairs look like? If there were 2 missing shingles prior as an example, and they replaced the 2 shingles.....what does the lack of evidence of repair look like?

And you know that the leak in the roof they fixed was this same exact roof leak spot? They had a photo circled on the disclosures showing the spot right there, and it wasnt a leak anywhere else?

And its not possible no other leaks could have occurred in the over 6 months from the past leak to the new leak?

Bro, you can sue....but youre going to get eaten alive in court.
