Starting an LLC Membership for Co-living Community Environment

Sherry Maxx
Posted

Good Afternoon, Attorneys in WA  State and those with business co-living experience or interested.

I'm looking start an LLC to address the issue of affordable living for professionals with a purpose of enjoyable Co-living community environments for personal and professional growth and well-being, and many other benefits.

My questions is: if the LLC collects money for admin costs, such as background check and other membership related costs and/or monthly membership for co-living environment, is it considered a "For Profit" entity or is it a "Non-profit"  entity.  The money collected will be reinvested in growing and maintaining a healthy community environment therein or for the same purpose yet to expand successful co-living environment model elsewhere.

Thank you in advance for your advice, comment(s), etc.  Please let me know about your experience and/or credentials, and if you are experienced currently in WA State or not.

Gratefully,

Sherry
