Mid-Term Rental in Eatonton Ga Area?

Hi All!

My son has been offered a co-op with Southern Company in Eatonton, GA.  They are providing a "duplicate" housing allowance since he's already got housing in Athens.

Does anyone here have any monthly rentals available in the Eatonton, Sparta, Monticello area?

His housing allowance is $1,000/mo and with so many lake properties (Lake Oconee / Sinclair) $1,000 a month doesn't seem to go very far.  Or there are just so many vacation rentals in the market, it's hard to sift them out and see if there is anything different available.
