Hey, what type of insurance do you guys get for your rentals and which companies do recommend.

    It's a great question and I don't think many people are thinking about this as the MTR niche gains traction. Definitely talk to companies that specialize in STR rental insurance for your MTR. It is more akin to a business entity and needs to be covered as such. Most homeowners policies have business activity exclusions or may offer riders that provide a small amount of coverage that may not be sufficient. Steadily, Proper and Foremost are popular choices. We use Foremost.
