MTR near Military bases
If anyone has MTR experience near a military base I would love to get your opinion. I am looking to invest in Columbia, SC because of Fort Jackson, USC, and several medical centers. Is there less or more demand near bases? Thanks!

Investing in real estate near military bases can be a good strategy, as there is often a consistent demand for rental properties due to the presence of military personnel and their families. Additionally, military personnel often have stable jobs and reliable sources of income, making them attractive tenants for landlords.
In the case of Columbia, SC, the presence of Fort Jackson, the University of South Carolina, and several medical centers could provide a diverse pool of potential tenants. However, it's important to note that the demand for rental properties may fluctuate depending on the size of the military presence in the area and other economic factors.
Before making any investment decisions, it may be helpful to do some research on the local real estate market and speak with real estate professionals in the area, such as real estate agents and property managers, to get a better understanding of the demand for rental properties and the potential for long-term appreciation.
