cleaning mid term rentals?

How do you guys clean these? Do you have a cleaning company go in only after turn over and the traveler has to clean while they are there for the month or 3 months? Or do you guys schedule a cleaning company to come by weekly?

We only do a cleaning after each guest checks out. We always provide cleaning supplies, vacuum, brooms so guests can clean themselves during their stay.

You can either clean it yourself to be scrappy and save money or hire a cleaning company to do the cleaning. Also, you do not have to have cleaners to clean weekly, only request to do a move in/out clean when the tenant moves out. You should deduct their security deposit and apply towards the cleaning fee @Albert Bui @Carlos Valencia

I send a cleaner in once a month (maybe every 3 weeks) for mid-term stays (no laundry, no dishes - just clean the space).  Guests love it, and I get to have eyes on it mid-stay.

How do you schedule these? Do you use an app like Turno? (I've had bad experiences and ended up just choosing to find my own local cleaner). Do you set the dates/times yourself and the guest just has to accommodate? Or do you have some way of allowing the guest to schedule directly with your cleaner?

thanks for the reply guys.  My concern when asking this question was that since its only 1-3 months tenants wouldnt clean and just let things sit and chalk it up to wear and tear.  I had some long term tenants who would let coffee drops sit and stain the white cabinets and another that looks like they didnt clean the tub in months. cleaners did the best they could, but it still didnt look like new and had a slight stain.

@January Johnson sounds like monthly would be a good fit. for the 1 month stays it would be at turn over and for the longer 3 month stays it will just be upkeep.
