Houston House Hacking Strategy
Hi All,
I moved down to Houston back in January of 2022, and have been living in the same apartment complex for the last 2 years now, but looking to finally buy my first house and want to implement househack strategy. Finding a multi-family has been tough to come by so I think I will implement the rent-by-room strategy instead. Looking for a 3 bed at minimum (SFH or Townhome) in really any safer part of Houston.
Would love any recommendations for where I should be looking, I've heard (SugarLand, Katy, Heights, EADO) to start?
Looking for purchase price anywhere from 350K and lower.
Cheers,
Dan

@Dan Kiely EaDo might be a good place to see if you can find a good deal. Fun area where you might attract young professionals who want to rent by the room. Heights I don't think you'll find under 350k unless its a fixer upper
