Househacking in Scranton

Adam Pervez
Posted

Hi all! Looking to connect with any investors and real estate agents in Scranton, PA. I am thinking about moving from NJ to PA with the higher property taxes in the area I currently reside in. My goal is to house hack the next place that I stay in and would like to get an idea of the area. I have been to the city once and it didn't seem too bad which has piqued my interest in living in the area.

Connect with @Mark Lladas for info about Scranton. He and his team have a number of doors in Scranton over the past few years.

Also, listen to @Shawn Mcenteer above. You may get high taxes in NJ and lower cash flow to start, but you will get a groundswell of appreciation if you do it right. The taxes are annoying, but most area come with very little cap on value.
