Construction jobs slowing?

Have tenants (through property management) that have been good pay for 2.5 years who are struggling. He is a commercial sheet rocker and sole source of income with a large family.

He must of had good income as the rent is fairly high and he qualified at the time. Is anyone else seeing this trend? There is a lot of residential construction around so not up to date on how commercial guys can transfer. Hoping he can find something soon.
