Is investing now in Ocala better than Jacksonville? Looking for a property in Ocala in zip code 34472 and kindly advice if that area is good.

Appreciate all the reply. Kindly confirm if the location of locust RD Ocala is safe to be considered for a purchase.

Locust road is in Silver Springs Shores.  Silver Springs Shores is a good area for rentals, first time home buyers, etc.  I own a rental on Locust Loop in the shores.  As an FYI, the roads in the Shores are all named after trees and then the adjoining roads are variations with the same tree name - so you will have Locust Road, Locust Loop, Locust Loop Run, Locust Circle, etc, etc.  It can be somewhat challenging to navigate but most of us from the area are accustomed to it.  To be clear, the area is probably a C+, B- area, but a very solid area for rentals.
