RON SHARRON - RDS EQUITY INTERNATIONAL
Has anyone heard of this guy or the company....I am about to enter a deal with them and I am not able to find any info anywhere, yet I am told that RS has been around since 2000 and was involved in a company called Riverboat International. Also, anything on a Bob Stuart would be helpful. TX.
He approached me by phone about using the services I offer, so he would be my client. However, there were many red flags in the phone conversation. (One red flag, he never once asked me what it would cost for my services. ANYONE who is serious about my services asks about the cost at the very beginning. Another red flag, he claimed to own property all over the world, including an interest in the Sears Tower in Chicago.)
I looked him up on the internet, found nothing to substantiate his company, but I did find some negative stuff. I found two separate addresses for him on WhitePages.com and since it was a pretty day and a Saturday afternoon I got in the car and drove to check out the addresses. One address took me to a parking lot of a restaurant. There was no structure whatsoever at that address, it was just a paved parking lot. The other address took me to an apartment complex "on the wrong side of the tracks." The whole street was lower rent (section 8?) apartments, the area was in a highly industrial part of the town, it just didn't add up. A high-roller with an interest in the Sears Tower would not be living in an area like that!
I found no physical address for his alleged business and he transacts email with a yahoo account. High-rollers don't use yahoo mail!
Use common caution as you would with anyone (e.g., hire a private investigator to check history, confirm his assets, etc.)
Derrick -regarding RDS
All I know about them is I had entered into an embarasing deal with our group and RDS, Ron Sharon, We were selling $180 million dollar apt. Bldg. Where RDS was not able to provide bank funding or even a deposit to start the purchase process after weeks of discussions signing contracts etc.
