Hey everybody, Canadian mortgage Associate and real estate investor here!

As a mortgage professional, I am always looking to hear from real estate investors about their wins and losses with financing their rental properties.

Have you had a terrible experience with a mortgage broker in the past? What went wrong? What did you learn from it?

Have you had a god experience with your mortgage broker? Or maybe you have never used a mortgage broker before and don't see the value in it?

What sort of financing strategies have worked for you and what has gone wrong?

I am also starting this discussion to be able to answer any of your questions you may have on this subject, so feel free to fire the questions at me!

Thanks for sharing everyone!  Look forward to hearing your experiences and being able to help!

***I would like to keep this post to my fellow Canadians as much as possible, as the lending in other countries is a bit different and may not be applicable to certain situations.
