How to find out how much mortgage I can afford

Oyinda Oyetunde

Hi everyone, I am looking to start planning to buy my first property. In determining how much mortgage I am pre-approved for, do I use a mortgage broker or go directly to the lenders? I hear credit unions have better perks. I am just gathering as much information as I can and I am not actively trying to buy yet. Thank you for your input.

@Oyinda Oyetunde both @Jordan Perry and @Julie Toh are mortgage brokers and are active on this forum.  I'd recommend that you reach out for a consult as they are the experts
