Clarifying Legal Rent Increase Limits for My San Pedro Duplex

Hey Everyone,

I own a duplex in San Pedro, California, and I’m trying to confirm how much I can legally raise the rent. I’ve found conflicting information on municipal websites. One source says 4%, while another states 5% plus the CPI, with a maximum cap of 10%. Currently, I have one unit rented for $2,800 and another for $2,200.  Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
