Disposing of a Tenants Possessions

I have tenants that have not abided by anything since they moved in. They did go through rigorous screening but I just got some not so good people.

The husband has brought about 30 used tires on site that we’ve already had to move once. He’s also got the porch full of boxes of things they don’t have room for in their unit.

They’ve been told repeatedly to get rid of the junk.

Tonight I mailed them a letter informing them that if it wasn’t all gone by September 30th I would be disposing of it.

Has anyone done this?

(They’re also in the midst of being evicted for non-payment so I feel like I don’t have that much to lose here).
