Syndication hamster wheel

April Haberman
Posted

Does anyone have feedback on how to move forward faster with syndications? I am on a hamster wheel! None of our hired professionals seem to want to deal with this. We are trying to move funds to a SDIRA and our financial advisor highly recommends not participating in a syndication (of course he doesn't want us to move our money), and passes the buck back to the custodian to move our funds to a SDIRA. When asking about UBIT, taxes and whether we should move our IRA to a SDIRA or a solo 401k, our CPA was very vague and pointed us to our financial advisor. We have a cog in the wheel. Any feedback or can anyone shed light?
