Creating a Website

Hey fellow BP members,
Recently I created a website for wholesaling real estate targeted towards motivated sellers. I showed it to a couple of people and one of them told me they didn't like it because it was "basic" and "empty". Does anyone have any tips, advice, examples ect. for creating a website to appeal to sellers. here is the website: [REMOVED] . ANY suggestions or feedback on ANYTHING about it or seller targeted websites in general would be helpful.

Hey Jordan Robinson. I wouldn't say your website looks "bad" per se, but it could probably use a little dressing up. For example:

- Do you have a company logo (or could you create one) to replace the simple "Cash Buyers Atlanta" at the top?

- Could you add some more information to the "About Us" page, so people understand more about who you are, what you're doing and why you're doing it?

- Could you create a "Testimonials" page with some simple statements from real people, backing you up?

- Could you create a "Welcome" video for your home page that lets people know you're a real person?

Put yourself in the shoes of your typical visitor. Why would they want to give you their information? What would make them feel comfortable? How do they know you're not some scam artist? Just from my perspective, whenever I come across a website that looks "vague" or overly "elementary" (like a 4th grader could have designed it), the less I'm willing to trust it.

There is a lot of sketchy information on the internet. If you expect people to fork over their personal information to you, you'd better give them a lot of good reasons to do it.

It's not enough to make a website look merely normal/acceptable, you need to make them WANT to give you their information. They need to believe that you can help them, and they would be absolutely crazy not to sign up.
