Sales process for following up on probate opportunities
I’m Interested in learning new and different strategies for approaching probate opportunities. I’m referring to the marketing side. Do you call first? Send a mailer? Text? Just curious.
Also, what is the best way to obtain a list? I know companies can produce them but is it worth going to the county to get it?

Your best bet for free probate leads is by going to your local city library and grab the local (reference) newspaper.
In the published notice go to Classifieds, then to Legal Notices. Your looking for the heading Notice of Petition to Administer Estate of. Read the ad and where the court house is located.
If there is no court house computer access (from your home) then you'll have to make that trip.
You'll be marketing to the PR (Personal Representative) with their complete mailing address, contact phone number and maybe e-mail address.
You'll find this information on the court document Duties and Liabilities.
For each probate file that you request you'll need the descents name and case number.
Yes, you can call, e-mail or text as part of your marketing plan. Whatever your comfortable with. After continuous gathering and reading published probate notices (should you continue on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly basis) you'll have have your free probate list.
Good luck..@Raul Chavez
