Am I doing something wrong??? Mailing List

Just this week I purchased my first list and sent our 900 post cards. I've even did a reverse look up of several people on my list and answered a few phone calls. What I have gathered was that I'm hitting an area where ppl are targeting HEAVY! One of the home owners told me that they have received 10 postcards this week alone.

What am I doing wrong? Did I just waste money on this mailing? Am I jumping to conclusion to soon?
