Well let me tell you a little story. Yesterday we got 3 contracts signed. How did we get these leads?

Of course my website... but HOW exactly?

Well boys and gals... my competitors send out a crap load of mailers out.

The ones sellers contact and make an appointment with... get an offer (low offer of course) and want a second opinion. SO what do sellers do? They go to Google.. and as we own the first page of Google... we get THEIR leads. And they tell us what these investors offered as we laugh and shake our heads validating how low the offers are.. and we just make an offer. We have such a way with people, they simply love us and rather do business with us. Being a NASA scientist (EX) does help. .. especially when they discover we build robots to make the elderly walk again. We get offerd to stay for dinner on more than several occasions ^_^

Muuahahaha

Second scenario

Seller gets a mailer and says.. oh wow.. there are people that buy houses for CASH?? That is unheard of. Let's verify this.. and a Google search follows.. just to see our ugly faces on the first spot of google with a trillion happy reviews. We get the lead.

MUUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

ok ok ok ok fine fine.. how about bandit signs.

OK uncle Joe drives down the road at 40MPH sees a "WE BUY HOUSE" bandit sign with a number under the text.. 55512uδ╩Äb⌡íï²

For all anyone cares that could the number be. WHO remembers a number driving? So they then google "WE BUY HOUSES"

And the funniest thing happens...

We get  phone call and the phone call starts as follows : "Hi, we saw your sign on the road and we want to sell our house to you"..

And me the bastard evil little poop goes: "ohh Hiii.. bandit signs? WTF?? OOOOHHHH BAAAANDIT signs.. yeah yeah.. sure, bandit signs.. OUR bandit signs.. they are good huh?" while in reality we awesome people do not touch juvenile lil bandit signs.. that stuff is for rookies... and we get the deal. 

But I want to thank the academy,  my parents, and all the silly lil investors that did so much hard work putting up YOUR bandit signs, and spent so much money on DMM so we can get your leads...

I have been telling people GET A DAMN website for 3 years now and  if you don't want to listen.. then get crushed!

So anyone still dare telling me the BEST marketing is anything else but a ranking website optimized to conversion... simply is wrong!

There you have it.

Ohh and of course allow me to not just talk a good talk, but walk a good sprint too!

So how many of you are struggling getting leads in winter? thanks giving? xmas?

On a more serious less anger inducing note:

Marketing is not everything. You need to sell yourself. The best way to sell yourself is to be genuine and genuinely you. Try to help other out. Many times we have "wholesaled" contracts with a $0 fee, simply because we felt really bad hearing about how bad their situation was.

Having a memorable, "impressive" website,  (NASA) surely gets you noticed, but we make deals because we truly are funny, pleasant, absolutely real and transparent. That will win over anything else every single time.

If you think it is hard to compete because an other website is "better", you got it wrong.

The moment you see marketing as more than just numbers, mailers, statistics, you will TRULY master the art of winning deals.

I realize there is a good chance you may not exactly understand what I am saying.. but once you do it, THEN you will see what I mean and then you will understand it " AAHHHH he was right, I see it now".
