Delinquent Taxes

Trying to find the best way access lists of people/addesses behind on taxes. I spoke with a company a couple months ago who sells the lists, but they wouldn't provide me with much information because I'm just a real estate investor, not a broker, etc.

We want to start small with just contacting people in 2 smaller cities. I was able to access a list online through the county treasurer's website. The list is titled: forfeited property with interested parties by city. However, it's for forfeited property on March 1, 2008, and/or on March 1 of a prior year, for failure to pay delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, and fees, be foreclosed in favor of this County Treasurer.

This seems so old, however I talked to the county treasurer's office and they said this is the most up to date list they have and there will be a new list published in August.

How are other investors getting to this info??

Thanks so much!

Cara
