Writing Yellow Letters to Someone you know

Samantha Maloney

Posted

As I was writing up some yellow letters from driving neighborhoods, I realized I knew the couple that owned one of the

Properties. Our families were close during childhood. How would I structure this particular letter differently then those to people whom I do not know? Thank in advance for the advice.

I would call them directly. If I'm doing a mailing, and recognize a name I don't send them my standard letter. Hopefully, you already have a foundation of trust/mutual admiration.

I wouldn't do anything differently for the letter. But if you know them well, call them and tel them what you do and ask if they have any properties themselves or know anyone in that specific area who might be interested in selling.
