Crazies Responding To Letters
What kind of crazy responses have you had to your letters sent offering to buy someone's house?
I've had someone completely chew me out for sending "all of those f'ing" letters and threatened to kick my butt. He expressed his anger for several minutes. When he finally paused to breath, I asked for his address so that I could take him off the list and he got real quiet and hung up.
I'm sure it was that same guy several weeks later (after I had sent another round of letters). He was acting like the most polite gentleman this time. "If you wouldn't mind, please take me off of your mailing list. Thank you very much"
I'm sure other people have experience some crazy responses. Please share.

Yeah, we get our fair share of "interesting" phone replies. The agressive ones are always entertaining. I also enjoy the replies that call after midnight and do not understand why they have to leave a message.
My all time favorite was a women replied to our letter. She was going through a divorce. We talked a few times and she was very interested in selling her property to us through a Short Sale. The catch, we still had to deal with her soon-to-be-ex. This is when the story gets good. I called and left him a phone message, and let his ex know that I had left a message. So about a day or two later he calls. We have a long talk about the situation and how we were interested in purchasing the property and how. He says maybe! Then the next day, he calls and tells me that he has thouht about it, and he wants to let the property get foreclosed. I reply sure, have a great life. Next, I get a call from the ex wife, she wants to know why things are not going anywhere. I explain that her ex does not want to sell, so we have moved on. Then he calls to yell about all types of items with me. He also tells me how he is coming over to the office to "fight". (I made the situation worse here by laughing!) I tell him no need to get physical. Two days later, he calls again to "talk" about when and where we are going to meet up to solve our situation. I ask him, "What the hell are you talking about?" He now thinks I am dating his exwife. I again laugh and tell him to go perform impossible sexual acts upon himself.
So, about a month or two goes by and he calls again. This time to talk to me about how he was sorry and that if I would sign a document stating that I never had sex with his ex, he would like to do business with me. I told him, no thanks. Then he asks if I ever need any lawn work done, would I call him?
WOW!
